Just want to share pics of some of the lockets i finished yesterday. hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! :)

Liam was his usual self today...no whining and crying!! First thing he said to me when he woke up..eat na! yehey! i think its going to be a wonderful day!! hahaha!:)

More orders to be done...better start doing them now...:)

anothery day has ended :)

wooohh! another day has ended!! my day started with liam crying his eyes out because he wants to drink milk instead of eating breakfast..it took several minutes before he calmed down and realized that a peanut butter sandwich is more filling than a bottle of milk! hahaha:) he was very irritable the whole day..the tantrums of a two year old!! the day is coming to an end...so finally he'll get to rest and hopefully tom less of the whining and the crying! i wish!! hahaha!:)

The whole day..i was busy with going around this blog and finishing some orders! blogging is so cool and so fun!! finished making these trinkets! the butterfly locket with initials inside..used clay for it also and the rose cameo ring! hope my client will like it:)

Oh well..time to sleep..:)

First Post

This is my first blog ever!:) I'm so excited to share with you my adventures with clay and being a mommy! I realized i should have started this a year ago when i was just starting to experiment with clay. oh my!! lots of stories to tell about it and lots of burnt clay!! i'll try to find some of my first works and post the pics here:)

I learned about clay through the internet..i was so amazed with what you can do with it! i was so excited to have my first block of clay! i remember i bought it at hobbes and landes in trinoma! i was so happy..even if my pockets hurt..it was really worth it!

I was into beading before...and then when i found clay....that's it!! I mixed mediums already! here are some samples of my work....for the ring..i stamped on a butterfly charm on the clay baked it and used antiquing medium to create that vintage look. For the flower locket, i used polymer clay, acrylic paint, some beads and a gold locket!:) i super glued the baked clay on top of the locket...will post pics of the lockets without the design on top. For the bunny locket...this is one is mine..i really love this story..i always tell this story to my little boy. he loves it also! i photo transferred the image on clay using waterslide decals, put some clouds using clay, stamped on the title "Guess how much i love you", then used antiquing medium again:) Finally my very own locket!!:)
